First 100 Days Campaign

The “First 100 Days” campaign is a reparations campaign during the first 100 days of President Trump’s Administration in support of reparations for American Freedmen by the National Assembly of American Slavery Descendants (NAASD) and the Reparations 2025 Unity Coalition from inauguration day,  January 20, 2025 to Advocacy Day in Washington DC on April 29, 2025, the 100th Day.

The mission of NAASD is to activate Descendants of Persons Enslaved in the United States & allies, to self-advocate utilizing humanitarian principles to effect redress of the enduring impacts of slavery and subsequent harms.

The Purpose of the “First 100 Days” campaign is to unite Black people across the United States and expand NAASD’s membership and to get Black Organizations to join the Reparations 2025 Unity Coalition and to bring  new NAASD members and new Reparations 2025 Unity Coalition organizations into regional and local workgroups to elevate the national call for federal reparations.

The primary goals of the “First 100 Days” campaign are:

  1. Bank at Black Owned Banks and Borrow from CDFI’s

  2. Divest from Corporations and Brands that Exploit Legalized Prison Slave Labor: American Airlines, Avis, McDonalds, Target, Wholefoods, and Starbucks

  3. Shop at American Freedmen or Black Owned Businesses and Brands

  4. Donate to NAASD and support federal reparations initiatives and donate to Reparations 2025 Unity Coalition Member Organizations for local initiatives.

NAASD envisions a nation where African American descendants of US slavery can fully exercise their constitutional citizenship rights and have economic agency for generations. The “First 100 Days” campaign is a significant step in making this vision a reality by ending the campaign in Washington DC with members of the American Freedmen Community and Black Organizations from across the United States coming together to advocate directly with Congressional Members and Senators for reparations and community priorities within the Black Community from the leaders that have been actively doing the work.
